The Release
Colorable is a minimalistic isometric puzzle game built around clear rules, simple presentation, and tile-based logic. Releasing it on Steam gave SanForge Studio direct experience with the full process of preparing and publishing a game.
The project was intentionally smaller in scope. That made it possible to focus on finishing the game, setting up the store page, creating supporting materials, and learning from the release process.
What It Taught Us
Colorable helped build practical experience around production planning, testing, Steam setup, store visibility, updates, and post-release communication.
Even a small game teaches a lot once it is released publicly. It shows what works, what needs more attention, and how important scope control is for an independent studio.
Why It Matters
For SanForge Studio, Colorable is not only a puzzle game. It is also a completed release that supports the studio’s growth and helps create a stronger foundation for future projects.
